On hate

I don't care if my president is Muslim, Christian, Atheist, or Jewish. I don't understand what the big deal is. America's ideology is based on freedom of religion. I can't help but wonder how Muslim Americans feel about all the hate that has been geared towards them.

Those people who say they are not racist yet continue to bring up this very fact in regards to this election should question their own judgment. If you are truly not racist, then you are colorblind, period, and you wouldn't have to constantly defend yourself.

Obama a terrorist? His plan was perfect. He has lead a life so righteous that his opponents can find absolutely no real dirt to dig up on him. He diligently campaigned all over the country for 20 months. And now his big finish: win the election and take over the world!! Yes... that would be my plan if I was a terrorist and my goal was to harm the country. It's so easy.

It is impossible to find videos on YouTube of Obama supporters saying hateful things about McCain, yet clips of McCain supporters calling Obama a terrorist and racial slurs run rampant.

The bottom line: I have infinite more respect for the Republican nominee than I do for many that are supporting him. Despite McCain's attempts to stop it, too many McCain/Palin supporters continue to use hate and fear in their reasoning. Not all, of course, and hopefully not the majority, but far too many.

Vote on policies. Not on hate.
